Sister Freitas has recently returned from her mission and is focused on pursuing her next goals in life. That does not mean she does not enjoy pausing to stay healthy and have some fun. In this workshop, she is excited to teach you how to dance and how to use this enjoyable medium to keep healthy and fit.

- Two 1 gallon jugs of water (for a fun hands on exercise - the gyms might be closed due to COVID, but that can't stop us!)

Patriarch Stepan has agreed to share his insights into being a patriarch and answering your questions about receiving and using your patriarchal blessing.

Brother Eric Anderson is currently serving as a member of the stake high council and is a dynamic public speaker. In this workshop, he will share principles and ideas and work with you to create a church talk or any other public speaking task that will allow you to share your message in impactful and meaningful ways, help you accomplish your task, and leave your audience fulfilled.

1. Gospel Library or scriptures;

3. Less than one minute fun or inspiring story to share;

Bring your best planking abilities and join me for a fun challenge that COULD end up with someone getting wet!  I'll share my health journey with you as I went from couch potato to exercise instructor.  We'll hear your ideas along the way.  No mad exercise skills required, just a fun can-do attitude, willingness to move a little bit and a friendly competitive spirit wouldn't hurt;)

Please have enough room for a little bit of movement and your camera set up that we can see you from head to toe, this will make what we have planned work out best!

Sister Fife has been serving in the Washington, Tacoma Mission since May of this year.  She will share what life is like for her in the mission field, lessons she has learned, a couple of spiritual experiences, and take any questions you have about what it is like to be a missionary.  Sister Fife is from the Hughson Ward and all who know her admire her testimony and kindness towards all those she meets.  What a blessing to be able to connect with her, a missionary from our very own stake!

Brother Avalon is a dad of five kids, serves as a counselor in the Bishopric of his ward, and a technical engineering lead for the company eHealth. Knowing how to code is highly in-demand and opens tons of opportunties to make your lifeeasier and much more fun! He will prove this by demonstrating the power of automation and teach participants to build their very own price tracking bot.

Tell your parents that dinner is on you Friday evening!  We will learn how to make authentic lasagna to share with your family Friday evening for dinner.  In this two part workshop, we will first (Part 1) make our red sauce (ragu) from scratch and learn some Italian words along the way.  Delizioso!

Ingredients Needed: (See Part 2 for additional ingredients)

- White or Yellow Onion

- Large Carrots

- Celery Stalks

- 1 lbs. of lean ground beef

- 2 large cans (28oz) of crushed tomatoes

The Lighthall Family have recently moved to our stake under unfortunate circumstances. They were one of the many families that were negatively affected by the Camp Fire that destroyed their home in Paradise, California. In this workshop, they will share ways to understand and overcome adversity, which strikes all of us in unique ways and in various times throughout our life.

Brother Loughmiller resides in Twin Falls, Idaho. Besides his day job in advertising, he enjoys making movies. In fact, he has even made some movies that have been entered into film festivals. In this one of a kind workshop, Brother Loughmiller will share tips of the trade that will have you making your own movies in no time.

All attendees are asked to bring something to take notes to record their impressions.
